If a people can expect to have babies together there is a lot less racism.

If one is "not eligible" to enter a relationship with another, its sure evidence of racism.

Ignorance is the key to racism.

and political and ecomonic exploitation of that ignorance is the root of that.
the cause of its perpetuation and the historical root of its instigation.

I think the key to racism today, is seperation of the races. At least around here anyways. When people of the same color all live in the same area, go to the same stores, hang out in the same spot......it's not very welcoming for me to walk up to 20 black people all staring at me and lifting up their shirts like they gonna pull out a .9.

The racism from one race, fuels racism from another. It's a never ending circle that hangs over our society.

Racism will never die, till the day where the color of ones skin is looked at as no more important than the color of ones shirt.

    YES IT IS.

racism will NEVER die. at least not in my lifetime. I am italian. I once went to a party with one of my black friends. There was probably 50 people there. There was 3 (including me) that wasnt black. I was getting soo many looks from everyone, soo many stares. Why? Because I wasn't black. Simple as that. I didn't make a big deal about it, cuz it wouldn't get me nowhere, but bottom line is because I wasn't black. Someone even asked me if I wanted a beer, and they asked me like this, "hey WHITE BOY, u wanna beer?" Is that ok for them to say to me? Would it be ok, if it was all white party and I said, "hey BLACK BOY, u wanna beer?" Is that ok?

honestly, i think a huge reason why racism is still an issue is people like Rev. Al Sharpton. people like him are as responsible as any klan member in my opinion. continually bringing up skin color in every situation. as a collective the white race is not out to keep the black race down, anymore. im tired of hearing about the "white man keeping us down". these days the issue is about economic class, not race. i get tired of being expected by minorities, to treat minorities like their different, cause their not.

imo the news is not a very good place to gather information about people as a collective. how many murderers and rapists and racists do you know personally? theres not so many in the real world.

Very good summary Archemetis. Also note, in alot of black movies (Barbershop, Boyz in the Hood, all the Madea's Family Reunion movies, etc) They always bring up black and white. White man this, White man that. White movies they hardly bring black and white up.

You should try to remove your blinders and accept that there may well be very manny bad or unkind people in this world, and my position is based upon real world experiences and education.

i understand there are bad people in this world. iv met plenty. but i truly believe the majority are not. this is based on my own real world expirience. iv hitchhiked all over this country many times and spoken with more people than i could ever hope to count or even remember. and one thing that is almost universal is the human desire for peace.
