I think it's really stupid that it's 2010, and woman are STILL being treated unequally.

People that don't support woman's rights are obviously men and could care less how other people would feel. I'm a male myself... and I'll gladly admit that some men can be a complete disgrace to the country.

For everyone that feels they are being treated unequally: You will WIN this battle. I respect you all to the fullest.

 

i'm just asking my kids get a fair shake. i picked the traditional marriage and supporting, loving wife role, much to my parents' dismay, because this is who i am. it's funny how many people are offended by the concept.

any way, i think i've hit upon a reason why so many men think i'm a man hater. aside from getting all mentally sloppy and thinking feminist leanings = lesbian dykebot out for man's destruction, that's nothing to do with me. but there's quite a few men out there who think of themselves as respresentatives of the entire beleaguered male sex and if i don't like them personally, i must hate all the males whom they think they represent.

obviously, they're not very bright.

 

Mmm, yes. That 'representative of a whole sex' thing gets on my nerves as well. I often hear a man or woman talking to some member of the opposite sex about 'what men/women think/want,' and I can just hear the chorus of 'umm, no's from about half of the rest of their sex.

Yeah. I mean, at times the male vs female war can be all in good fun. And there's certainly valid concerns on either side of the issue. But when people take an individual disagreement and turn it into some universal rule of engagement they're clearly a bit off.

I agree and thanks for posting this. There's a difference between a woman who desires equality and fights to maintain the rights she's won and a woman who beleives all men are chauvanist pigs.

 

i've witnessed man-haters harass little boys . it's awful and neurotically logical . well , when you see it you protect the kid . those women can just get themselves a spaceship and clone themselves elsewhere ... really , i seriously mean it , hands off the kid and leave this house now .

you people are trash talking the man haters by calling them psychotic, crazy, etc. don't you see that LOVE and EQUALITY come from treating others with LOVE AND RESPECT?

my point really being that these women are conditioned to have their own beliefs just like all of us are. we have to come from a place of understanding before we can have peace with each other. that goes for women haters, man haters, feminists, non feminists, everyone.
