Hey, if I win the lottery in the next couple weeks, I'm there! lol Colorado isn't thaaaat far of a drive for me. Google says it's 6 and a half hours.
Hello, jepp, it's always the same. I would come if the venue would be nearer to Gamshurst . Regards Gyro
Gyro, if we dig a hole deep enough we might get somewhere near Colorado. But if we appear to have dug a hole to China we should relocate the meeting to there.
Hello, what a fantastical idea! Give me a minute to get my helmet and my shovel. But then again, this could become complicated... I live near a cemetery. People would become irritated if they see me with a shovel... Regards Gyro
You appear to have made a nice start, although I don't fully understand why you started in the middle of a road :cheers2:
Hello, that's three weeks from now, no problem. Asmo is a strong dude and he craves for some heavy shoveling . Regards Gyro
So who's all showing up for this shindig? And out of those folks, who likes to drink good beer??? There are almost as many microbreweries in Denver as there are cannabis shops. And my understanding is that there are more pot shops than Mcdonalds and Starbucks combined....and that info was taken before the recreational law was passed. Anyway, there are countless breweries in the Denver area, but one of the very best is called The Great Divide Brewing Company. As it just so happens, the master brewer is a good friend of mine. We grew up in the same neighborhood and our families have married in-together. He's always told me to send any of my friends his way and he'd give them a private tour. Which his private tours usually include all you can drink GOOD FUCKING BEER, and a look at the day to day stuff theyre doing to compete with (stay ahead of) the overcrowded market of Colorado Microbrews. I've had several friends visit and even relocate to Denver, but all of them have failed to follow through and act on my invitation. Which is their loss. The Great Divide is a Top Knotch Brewery, especially if you like hoppy and/or experimental but classy brews. One of the last few times I was there, they had just purchased a shit ton of used whiskey barrels from a newly founded premium whiskey company in Denver called Stranahans. They put every beer that they make, plus a few new models, into the barrels to age....just to see what it would do to each beer. The last time I got to try their 3x Whiskey Barrel IPA. Not for the faint of heart, but one of my all time favorites. So anyways, if you've read through my drunken rant and want to check out my friends brewery on your 'meetup', say the word and I'll make a few calls. If the group isn't beer lovers than it might be a wasted favor, they don't make anything to suit the yellow fizzy rice water drinkin' crowd.
Because if know they wont be able to go, its cooler to say "Oh, I'd love to go but......" Best you all dont meet up, probably find you'd hate each other in real life.
