I think the sex is actually an important part to someone.

Imagine talking to someone in real life and not being sure.

I know a lot of people mistake Fae for a guy because she has a guy in her sig pic and no personal pics (unless they're on private, I haven't checked)..

 

I agree with LauraMay, I like knowing what people look like and sound like for that matter. Makes me feel more connected when I chat with them.

I remember when Colenzo showed up years ago... I used to bullshit with him on messenger a bit. He always thought it was funny that so many people thought he was female because he talked about modeling and shit... and once they found out he was a male model and not a female model he gained the label "troll" for the same offensive posts that seemed to not bother anybody when they thought he was a hot chick...

Why wouldn't we? Ivy was ugly as hell and ignorant but somehow she entertained forever while it is widely agreed that the only thing she offered was an easy target... nothing really redeeming about her posts other than the fact that people could use them against he so easily
