Different people are different... of coare, if you don't want to base your opinion on pictures, don't look... if that's what you prefer, then you prefer.

Most of us have 3000-30000 posts. In my opinion, it would be difficult to fake being someone else that much.

Have you guys seen the new show on ABC where couples date in total darkness? They don't see each other until the very end, right before they decide if they want to continue dating IRL, after the show is over. A little less than half the couples decide to continue.

I don't usually watch dating shows, but I made an exception to see how many people could get beyond appearance and start a relationship based only on personality. Frankly, I am surprised at how many couples are getting together on that show.

on the subject of the thread, i like to know what ppl look like when i chat with them. if i havent seen their pic, i have a mental image of them. i was way off on Jai but right on with laura may. (and i was one of the ppl that thought that piaf was a guy for a long time, lol)

In all honesty, I think it comes down to what you are talking about it, playful interaction with RT... pics are cool.

If you want to venture to have serious discussions, pics my get in the way.... when I first created this name I did not have pics, but I also didn't have problems with people trashing me either....

I've had other names as well... that without pictures no one knew, it's a lot on how you present yourself.

far be it from me to say better or worse. but i do like pictures of places more then pictures of people though. pictures of places that don't have cars in them.
trains, unusual trains, unusual buildings, lots of trees, odd little furry creatures, that sort of thing. forested mountain landscapes with odd little trains and odd little houses, or labyrinthine interiors of palaces of benign strangeness, oriental gardens and so on.
