You've taken it the wrong way man, sure it might have been a little hostile.. but look past the wording and try to look at why they're saying it.

That was an intense dose in a fuckin' stupid setting, doesn't matter how hardcore you think you are or what you've handled before, how many times you've talked to your mom whilst peaking(why?), how many other huge doses you've eaten before, or you know know who eats more than you on a weekly basis(he's a douche for wasting shrooms anyway). It was a dumbass idea and I have no idea why you're trying to defend it.

Wake up dude, trips are incredible and space is fun, but there are solid consequences back down on earth.

I disagree, and I have a degree in psychology and am working in a psychological field. Plus I'm more of a psychonaut than you'll ever be, and I don't care how egotistical that sounds, because there's no pride when I say it, it's just a cold assessment of the facts. Sitting around in your boxers playing xbox while absentmindedly eating unknown amounts of psychedelics speaks volumes about what these molecules are to you. Beyond my formal training in understanding the mind, my entire life has been spent studying the mental realm and the manifestations of behavior that arise from it. This is my life. My passion. If anybody could have had it then why has nobody here had it happen to them? Why is it always immature, egotistical punks who abuse psychedelics who end up going psychotic, breaking furniture, attacking loved ones, and involving the legal system? Don't kid yourself dude, this happened to YOU for a reason. I'm not hating you, I don't know you. What I am hating is that because of your irresponsible actions, you have become yet another data point in the War on Drugs. Congratulations, because of you, mushrooms are that much more punishable. You are now an emergency room statistic that will be used to further remove a sacred sacrament from the hands of all people under the jurisdiction of your laws.

Every trip is different and that seems to come as a surprise to you, mister "psychonaut". And the fact that you are confused why 12-14g of dry mushrooms could cause a psychotic break is just all the evidence I need to understand how little you know of what you do.

And I can assure you that for every member here who comes to your defense, there are 10 who are shaking their head in disappointment at your threads.

The reasons for the hostility have been explained time and time again for you. It is for your ignorance, your ego, and your disregard for others. I have given infinitely more respect to posters with 1 post count than I do to you, so speaking for myself, your age and post count are completely irrelevant. swallow the bitter medicine, learn humility, gain insight. You speak of this experience like you ruined a steak and are peeved trying to figure out what went wrong. What went wrong is you. Own that, or you are doomed to repeat this event. Maybe a first step would be to think really hard about what setting you are using these boundary dissolving psychedelics in . . . and what mindset you're in while doing it. Maybe the issue is not even that deep within you. Maybe it really does just come down to 12g dry mushrooms + violent xbox games = violent loss of control. You are acting like this came out of nowhere, and that is simply incorrect, it came out of everything involved in that night. Including you taking far beyond what would even be called HEROIC doses of very strong psychedelics, while your parents are home.
