this reminds me of how a few years back some hetero high school kid in minnesota wore a t shirt that said straight pride and got suspended from his high school over it. it's because it offended all the gay students there. he did it in repsonde to the fact that his school had/have a gay and lesbian alliance type group. forcing tolerence on people never works. it makes the people pushing it just as intolerent as those they disagree with. but yes, there reaslly is a militant pro homosexual agenda. which is why in england a foster family from a christian background was forced to give their adopted child up because they wouldn't teach him about homosexuality. this militant agenda is also why the boston school district uses tax dollars to teach kids about the gay lifestyle. including elementary kids. what kids do or become when they grow up is one thing. let them decide for themselves what they want or do not want to be. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=489285&in_page_id=1770

liberals far too often scream about the need for tolerence, yet they get intolerent and militant when you disagree with them. if somebody doesn't want to accept someone else for some differences it's on them. so why worry about it? and if there's truly a such thing as homophobia, there also must be a such thing as heterophobia. because it's well known that a lot of gays use derogatory phrases such as "breeders" to refer to heteros. but when straights call gays queer or faggot it's taken in offense by the later party. yet gays frequently refer to themselves as fags. i've sat down and listened to them do so. some people are just more equal than others are i suppose. gays are every bit as intolerent towards straights as straights are towards gays. i also don't see the need for hate crime legislation for gays. whenever heteros attack gays for whatever reason it's always investigated as a possible hate crime. even if the gay person's sexuality played no role in the motivation. but when gays have done the same thing to straights they don't even bother to look at it being a possible hate crime. everybpdy seems to think those dudes who beat matthew shepherd to death simply did it because he was gay. unless you were there, how do you know for sure if that's the reason why they did it or not? matthew shepherd also had a reputation for being cruisy and liking crystal meth. perhaps these factors had something to do with his death? i don't know if they did or not, but a lot of people seem to act as if heteros can do wrong and gays cannot do any wrong whatsoever. tolerence cannot work one way folks. it is not a one way street. i'm not afraid of gays, i just don't think they deserve special treatment or status. then again nobody else does either. but that's just my two cents

how do you ever expect to be accepted by straight people if you're always up in straight people's faces about your homosexuality? having those militant gay groups attached to your subculture is like people who genuinely care about the welfare of white people having neo nazis attached to themselves. extremists never solve anything with their attitudes. gay pride parades never did themselves any favors by allowing the likes of NAMBLA to protest in public with them either. you guys and gals don't deserve any more special treatment than the rest of us do. believe it or not, not all of us straight people make a big deal about your sexuality. a lot of me being uncomfortable around gays for so many years is because i was molested by one when i was really young. so my uneasyness is atleast somewhat justified. besides, if some people didn't have victim status they'd have nothing to whine about at all and they'd hacve to be just as ordinary and mundane as the rest of us are. for example feminism, other than more job and educational opportunities and the right to vote. feminism really hasn't done anything to seriously empower women. i doubt the gay rights movement is going to get drasticly different results either. i've known actual gay people before. so i can speak from experience when i say these things. but you can't force someone to accept you or how you are. it's up to them to do so, not you.

Black ppl call eachother niggers, but its offending when white people call them niggers. I'm not saying the "war" between straights and gays is racist, but its kinda like that.
