Nothin' wrong with saying "******". Anyhow... All goths should be shot. Take the Emo kids with them. If you're dumb enough to stereotype yourself, then at least choose a good stereotype.
that's not a very good analagy. that basically sums up how i hooked up with an emo girl. she was one of those all out emo girls that wears all black and pink with red hair spiked in the back with a coffin lunch pale and ripped pants. right when i saw her i was like "great another emo in my class" but she was actually very smart and hyper, i even checked her wrists and found no scars. very non-emoish. she even smokes and (was) a virgin. so she's the pile of shit i stuck my face in and found a very good friend(and fuck buddy)
many would disagree. and as i explained in that other thread not all black ppl are niggers, and some white ppl deserve to be called niggers
Dressing black can be what a person is, too. And feeling black. Black is beautiful, baby. So do you wear any particular clothing? Cut or style or wash or comb your hair? Do you wear cologne or bathe? Why? That's superficial.
i'm not saying that you can't find good things in places you usually wouldn't look.. but its faster to skip over the 'probable' bad places.. and go to the ones that your more likekly to find something your looking for.
Couldn't agree more, boy-o. And you obviously feel that everyone must conform. :^) A cool girl on this site has a kick ass selection of music on her MySpace. I am playing it right now and this Hendrix song came on and it seemed too appropriate. If 6 was 9 by Jimmy (yeah, sing a song bro...) If the sun refused to shine I dont mind, I dont mind (yeah) If the mountains ah, fell in the sea Let it be, it aint me. (well, all right) Got my own world to live through and uh, ha ! And I aint gonna copy you. Yeah (sing the song brother...) Now if uh, six uh, huh, turned out to be nine Oh I dont mind, I dont mind uh ( well all right... ) If all the hippies cut off all their hair Oh I dont care, oh I dont care. Dig. cause Ive got my own world to live through and uh, huh And I aint gonna copy you. White collar conservative flashin down the street Pointin their plastic finger at me, ha ! Theyre hopin soon my kind will drop and die but uh Im gonna wave my freak flag high, high ! Oww ! Wave on, wave on... Ah, ha, ha Fall mountains, just dont fall on me Go ahead on mister business man, you cant dress like me Yeah ! Dont nobody know what Im talkin about Ive got my own life to live Im the one thats gonna die when its time for me to die So let me live my life the way I want to Yeah, sing on brother, play on drummer
well let me put it this way, while im not a high school goth, like the ones i despise, i have my darker tendencies, and i know some of those ppl that decide their friends by the cds in their collection. most of those ppl wouldnt like me, cuz i listen to eazy-e and mozart and even blind melon. but i certainly dont dress the way i do to conform. i dont do it for my friends, i do it cuz i like the way it looks. granted i wear other things too like tie dye, but the majority of the clothes i wear is black and would be considered gothic.
I don't want people to conform, which is why I can't stand Goths and Emo kids. Just be yourself, without all the bullshit. ...and yeah, wearing black is cool... but looking like fucken Robert Smith is just a little sad. It's conforming to a stereotype.
Because they're not dressing like everybody else! I know. They dress like each other. I don't know if you're actually a hippie, but I have thought the same thing about them, ironically enough. They have the right to do their thing their way. If you can't see that, well, go write in Bush for a third term and crank up Limbaugh and dance around in your stars and stripes underoos or whatever.
man.. how about whatever anyone does is them being themselves.. since they did it. If they follow an emo fashion.. its because their the type of person to follow a fashion... 'being yourself without all the bullshit' is a prtty big damn fashion as well. what we are inside is what makes us who we are.. on the outside.. were bound to fall into some kind of stereotype.
Yes, I think that same of hippies. Also, self-stereotyping... but at least it's a much more pleasant stereotype. What I'm trying to say is... distinguish yourself out of the crowd by your actions and personality... not by dressing like an idiot.
I don't know how familiar you are with the American goths, but they don't fall into the stereotype, they force themselves into the stereotype. Which is why most of them grow out of it. Are you on crack?
Okay. As far as liking the hippie way, but not the goth, ladies and gentlemen, I give you, live, from Los Angeles, California, The Doors!
