well, I'd expect this behaviour from some neo-hippie site, you can only understand the subculture if you're apart of it.

and most pics shown have been of metalhead attire, not goth

 

maybe you should have joined the GothForums then...

 

I did, but somehow... im here too... confusing :S

 

maybe its to see what other subcultures are like and their communities ect.. We have a good understanding and tolerance of others, yet everyone else seems to misunderstand us and tag posers as what we are..

Hell most goths now a days don't even exist. They get hit with the "emo" moniker.

Of course, everything is emo these days. We've moved from classifying Dashboard Confessional as emo in the old days, to My Chemical Romance now. Anything that someone doesn't like gets the emo label, whether it deserves it or not.

I hate most emo/goth stuff, but damn it if the girls aren't sexy. Mmm mm.

 

I get called a goth for liking Metal Idiots.

 

Most people dont self-mutilate to be "cool"


most of the time its due to the fact that they dont know how to express their emotions properly.


but it is a problem that should be approached with care and compassion.

I must disagree. There are a few areas in my city where all these so called emos and goths go to hang out. I went there once and what I saw shocked and disgusted me.

You had all these little emo kids drinking Lambrini and passing out, or end up throwing up and leaving. Then I saw a group of them, two of the girls were comparing scars. That really pissed me off. Then on top of that some girl came running along to these two girls saying 'Look'. She pulled a razor out of the back of her phone case. :toetap05:
