Am i to understand that you just do not care about the health of this planet at all...the environment......or you do not care if the most richest people walk all over us some more....and we have to pay higher taxes and things....?

and certain freedoms are taken away? You do not care about any of that?

and hate talk is the norm...

ect...there is a a whole list of things.
he is no example of a person for me to look up to.

    one leads by example.

High morale, ability to create bonding and cohesion are force-multipliers in itself which will figure in the long run.

Focussing just on sheer economics all the time, is like attending to the minor details without studying or understanding the bigger picture which can thereby spin out of control, leading to tactical successes but strategic failures..

People associate Kennedy with the moon landing, an event that launched a technology boom that is still in play. Johnson brought the Civil Rights act into fruition. After that we got Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Bush 1, Clinton, Bush 2 and Obama. None of them left anything like that in place. None of them created any actual growth. All of them played with numbers like unemployment (never approaching REAL panic numbers), illegal entry (stagnant at "11 million" for years now, as if they stopped crossing) and welfare rolls (proof that the vast majority of poor people in the US are white).

Obama could have done a LOT more. He, like Clinton, could have doe something about the drug war. These pardons of late are a trickle, like 0.001% of the problem. We have an underground gulag for profit system we call the "Justice" department. I have a feeling Trump is going to leave behind a nation that buys milk with casino chips because all the coins were melted down to make weapons. So I don't see much on the horizon for substantial changes to humanity's lot in life.

The Republicans wanted a $39 billion dollar reduction in SNAP benefits. Obama held them to $8.7 billion. Thank God for Obama.

    As far as the rest.......lol

BTW...this is a Hillary Clinton thread, not Barack Obama.

  7. I have no love for Obama. He's dropped more bombs on Muslim countries than Bush ever did. He stands idly by while we're stripped of civil liberties. He doesn't care. Where is he when it comes to Standing Rock, for example? There you have a rich corporation breaking the law and instead of them being arrested, protesters are being shot by rubber bullets by the military (aka the police.) Where was Obama when people in Arizona were being robbed of their votes? He's never anywhere when it counts. Except the wrong places. He's there for the corporations of the TPP who want to sue citizens for interfering with their profits.

And talk about deporations. Obama deported way more people than Bush ever did. And now we're supposed to be worried about Trump and the deportations? I'm just glad people are going to be aware that this shit is going on now. Maybe we can make it stop now that Trump is in power, since he's going to put such an awful face on these policies that America has been engaged in for decades now.

I wonder if these will be worth anything one day. I am reminded of the phrase "do not put the cart before the horse". All this women did was rely on her gender. You have to like her or you must have an issue with all women. No people had an issue with a dishonest women who looked down on the middle class.

I think she relied on her name recognition too.
I knew more than one person that was voting for her because she is bills wife. And I don't talk to many people IRL about politics.

Yep, another bit of humor bites the dust. I was speaking of having the magazine bronzed.

We have 11 copies of a children's book about Hillary, the first woman president. Jane, my wife, thinks they'll look good in a vacuum pack for a couple of decades. Or till the first actual woman wins the white house.
