Cool cabin dude! Would love to build myself something like it. I am in Eastern Tennessee. I am an old hippie chick. Half hillbilly and half hippie too. I call myself a hippabilly. Would love to visit. But I don't drive and don't have a license. I currently work at McDonald's. Sucks but it pays the bills. I live in public housing. Life is short and some day I wanna have my own little cabin and some cool people around to share life's ups and downs and wisdom with. I read most of the thread. I think you are right on. Wisdom comes from starting over sometimes. You learn that stuff don't matter. You got yourself something to be proud of. Don't let angry bitter people get your goat. But I wholly understand. Keep sharing the love light and enjoy the fruits of all your hard work. Peace, Cricketlind
cool work, we have a small log cabin too - very basic shelter but it does the trick. it is on a lake in maine
I just got back to Detroit after a week of backpacking and rafting in the smokies. I really do love Tennessee. Pigeon Forge is a bit to much for my liking however. lol
Imagine how I feel... I built a beautiful home that I was thrown out of & can't get anyone to talk to Yonder about how throwing permanent members out is a very poor way to go about attracting new members.
whats it been,,3?? 4 years?? jesus fucking christ, just go kill him or somethin.. its nuts your still making yourself miserable over it.. if your that upset go down and go postal,,otherwise,do the world a favor an, get over it...
Nice place! I'm totally freakin' jealous. Reminds me of when I lived down there and helped this guy build his place in Northern GA, we used to hang out, drink beer, get high, and chill, good times.
It's incredible that in 3 years of asking, I still haven't gotten help with this! How long must I ask for help before someone takes me serious & finally looks into this? Haven't you run into people that know the truth about how much I did at the Yonder ranch? I did a hell of a lot, & what's worse, is that I encouraged others to stay & invest their time & money in the place, we were all screwed over. How hard is it to just help a brother that's been really screwed over? I remain convinced that a timely intervention could have saved the community... I certainly asked for help soon enough. When you finally tell Yonder that throwing out his permanent members is a bad idea, I can stop asking for that. It seems like an obvious thing for him to be told... I can't imagine what makes it so hard to get done.
umm,, hello.. we dont communicate with yonder,,an we know of noone who does.. so your barking up the wrong tree.... and on a side note,, are you 4? you need someone to look into this and handle it for you?? thats a bit immature.. it seems as if your not willing to take the steps needed to resolve the situation but yet you expect others to do it for you.. if you handled things like this at yonders i can see why he threw you off the property.. if there is something that needs to be done be a man and do it yourself... also this is off topic. if you wish to continue your complaining please start your own thread.. off topic posts are against forum guidelines.. thank you.
Not to mention that you didn't own the land. Just because you lived there and decided to build a house, doesn't make it yours. If it did, you wouldn't be complaining. Find a way to get some land and build YOUR OWN house.
we are pretty much done with the cabin but we are ever expanding our gardens and constantly making improvements and doing projects that lead to a sustainable lifestyle and home. always something going on around here, your more than welcome to come help out anytime youd like.
LULZ... umm,, if its still standing possibly.. yonders aint no place for you zoomie. trust me on that..
oh i cant see taking orders as the issue. i just know you dont do well with slack ass lazy fucking hippies. thats always seemed to be yonders specialty.lol last person through there that came by here a few months back said its degenerated back into a road dog trash dump, yonder was dodging a warrant so the gate was being kept locked and that whole vibe of the cops coming in at any moment was there.. really a shame about that place, ive always heard it has potential, sadly it also has a long history with rainbow and thus will always attract the less than desirable element of the family.. of course in yonders defense his non profit is for shelter of the mentaly ill.. that would explain STG's rants..
Really? Id love too but i do not know how i'm going to get over there until summer. My car broke down again and its at the point where i can't fix it with extra parts or coat hangers and tape, so i'm eather going to have to hitch my way over or just wait until the summer. :/
