Hip Forums Face to Face 'Reunion'

ocean city...haha, that's like 30 minutes from me....

 

I met some people off of another forum up in LA it was really akward at first but then we had a blast. Everyone lived on the west coast though but a few people flew in.

 

i attempted to set up a hipforums meet up at bonnaroo last year and the only person who showed up was mimosa, so we rocked out to the dead together =)

I tried to meet OLHippie and some others at the big mushroom fountain at bonnaroo last year but i couldnt find them

i did meet Beatlerific there though.. and ive met a few others. actually i am meeting HerbaMatey today after school to smoke a bowl in the forest! haha

This has been going on for a long time and it never works. I think its because people here don't really want to meet each other. We like to bullshit about how lovely it would be to have a gathering, but in honesty we really don't like each other enough to travel thousands of miles to meet. It's one thing to be friendly on an online forum and quite another to meet these people and have them truely know about you. There aren't many here I would make plans to meet. If I happened into any of you I wouldn't mind a bit, though.

 

no you guys have to have it in bc... lower drinking age, fantastic pot, perfect weather, enchanting scenery... come to meeee, my poor ass can't travel yet!

 

I couldn't agree more It's a nice centralized location for those in the U.S. The temperature is just right in the summer, and the Bluesfest is in the summer which is alot of fun and there's always a bunch of freaks there. It also means I'd actually be able to make it there.
