Aren't white folks like 70% of the market when it comes to rap? so is it really shocking if some white people act like the rap artist. Music influences culture too much for their not to be some people that act like the artist they hear on the radio. Would there be hippies if the Beatles, Hendrix, Janice, never existed or the culture as popular as it was/is? Doubtful.

OMG i thought I was the only one this side of the pond that listens to them.

 

You have a point, but, still, it's preferable to be yourself.. without a label to attach yourself to, know what I mean?

And maybe you are the only one on *that* side of the pond to listen to NTM.. I'm from France! I've lived in the U.S, though.

 

rap ain't so bad. especially to work out to.

 

I hate to pull the race card but I have gotten my fare share of labels pushed on me by people(blk and wht go figure) cause of my skin and I can't stand it. I like to think that I'm far from the/a stereotype.

Germs are great...I have close to everything they ever made (which isnt much)..most was released after darby died anyway...

Lexicon Devil and Puzzled Panther are my favorite songs by the Germs, but I like all of them..

 

I need music to be really melodic to keep my attention so its hard for me to listen to too much rap even if I like some of it. I really like SOLE, especially because of his lyrics but I can only handle listening to an album once every few months.

 

For me, its C (to a lesser degree) and F (to a larger degree).
