Hippie or Whore?

huh? why is this ridiculous? people ask term questions all the time to see how others view the terms.

What terms from this discussion, related to women, are you angry over? slut, whore, hippie? Again, I use those TERMS for men as well as women, so I am not taking them to be offensive just toward women.

I don't understand why you are ashamed from this discussion.

 

Isn't that true for all of us? We just call the people who choose to have sex with one person monogamous, and the people who are fucking around, carefree, with tons of people, around the same time, having meaningless sex, (some who do it not safely) whores...sluts... men and women..same terms. "Free love" just makes you feel better.

 

once you're diagnosed with an std, it's pretty easy to realise - the difference is nil.

whore is a word, words have meaning, this specifically refers to a person who receives monetary compensation for sex

an extreme feminist might argue that this applies to the position of housewife, though as we all no there is little to no sex after marriage

The distinction I do make is between women who actively participate in getting to know me, and those who are passively dragged into bed.

The latter I might call sluts, though I still love them more than a Mc Donald's sundae.

Edit2: Sometimes I'm put off by women who telegraph a lot of sexual interest immediately. I am trying to understand why...I think it's because in my experience teases soon morph into a) or b);

Edit3: A girl can't go wrong who is genuinely friendly toward me; regardless of how sexually active she is.

Whore is not a word that should be used lightly, even with its literal meaning.

 

I think a whore is someone having sex with random people with ulterior motives. I know a few whores that have sex with random people to make themselves feel better...that is selfish in my opinion and completely unnecessary.

Free love is living for the moment and going out and having a good time whenever the feeling is right.

 

I'm a guy and the feeling is always right yet I don't have much sex, what gives???

I do use Bovine Sport cologne, perhaps its time to try a different one or maybe I should let my natural musk grace the nostrils of all possible female suitors.

 

I think it's just different names for the same thing. My problem with it is that casual sex often leads to complications, like one person becoming emotionally attached, and the increased chances of STDs, etc.

Perhaps the distinction between the two is the respect a person has for themselves.

If they do not respect themselves it leaves little room for others to respect them.

You can have multiple partners without needing to hang out a red light.

 

Eh...Whores can definitely have a high self esteem. Maybe you can clarify 'respect for themselves' if that's not what you mean.

 

Try treating them like shit and slowly wearing away their self-esteem to the point where they stick around because all they want is to please you in order to fill the feelings of inadequacy you've created in them.

Seems to be working for a lot of guys.
