I knew a hippy back in college that tried to make his own LSD from ergot.

The guy that was the first one to try it went into seizures and started turning blue. The hippy and his buddy rolled his ass up in a tarp and drove him out into the woods to bury him because they were sure he was going to die.....luckily just as they started to dig the hole the guy came around and started breathing normally again.

Moral of the story is don't try to make your own LSD..... ergot is some really poisonous stuff.

dont use seeds you will not get the right alkaloid but instead other ergot alkaloids and you will need to use a ton of seeds. I question anyone thats says they have hwr seeds? are you a cop ? cause they are the only ones that sell um in the back of rolling stone and other magazines. You cant find these seeds unless you go to some special shop or via the internet (most likely feds) but its pretty easy to get rye grain. whole foods , sprouts other stores that sell various grains. then you soak it in distilled water for a week or two maybe longer eventually a brown purple black mold appears. if you dont believe me just try it. you dont use tap water because chlorine light and heat destroy ergot. once you have that you are pretty close. you put that in the fridge not freezer for 2 or 3 days not one take the light out of your fridge should be in a small sealed pyrex container crystals will form. this is ergotamine turning that into acid is another story which I will sell to you for 1000 dollars. The game was meant to be sold not told kids. but it can be done at home with almost no glassware dont be fooled by disinformation agents.

OK, for the last time, ergot is a not a mold, it's a fungus and to grow it in a controlled environment you need to seed the media with the fungus spores.
I doubt very highly that just putting soggy grain in the fridge is going to yield anything more than a fucking mess.

mold is fungus. and i did not say put that shit in the fridge. you let the mold/fungus grow in wet rye in a dark closet once you get that then you put in a container in the fridge seal in a container see thru so you can see the crystals grow.
