homemade bong ideas?

are you 21, or know someone who is? buy one of these (i saw them in the liquor store the other day and wished i had extra spending money, or that i was a big vodka drinker)

I made a gravity bong out of an old glass slide and a one liter Coke bottle. I drilled a hole in the cap and put my glass slide in then sealed it in. Now all I do is switch the cap out with either a 20oz, 1 liter or 2 liter bottle depending on how fooked up I want to get or if I have others in the house. It's universal and I love it. Personally I think it rocks. Easy to get replacement bottles. I keep a couple of empty bottles around if I need one. Cut the bottem out and use what ever water container that fits the bottle I need. I like to use a martini shaker for my 20oz bottle. Again, works great and is one of the best home made jobs I have.

 

I have made a bong out of a plastic vodka bottle 1.75 litter and I cut a hole in the side and inserted a 1/2 in pvc pipe long enough to touch the water in the vodka bottle and the I put a trumpet mouth piece in the pvc and used it as my bowl it was pretty sweet It tore me up everytime

i know how to make a bong i just want to make a sturdy one, i just dont know like what the best materials are to use for each part. and i'd like to make it somewhat interesting if i can.

 

Best Materials....Glass. You can sub out some metals like brass or stainless steel but glass is by far the best way to go. Plastic will just kill you.

 

I made a bong out of a gallon of vodka bottle cut a hole and inserted a 1/4 in pvc pipe on the side and use a trumpet mouth piece as the bowl and the mouth piece could move in and out one bowl would get fucked up

 

you could just buy the stem and bowl at a head shop.

 

Dig up some forgotten creep from the local bone yard and make a one chamber from his Femur.

Or you could say fuck the homemade bong and the homemade waterfall and gravity bongs, and just buy a real bong.

 

I love making homemade bongs. I consider myself the MacGyver of bongs, haha. Use a drill bit for the bowl (or buy a glass bowl at a head shop for like $5), and use glass if you have the tools (cutting/glass glue etc). Buy aquarium tubing from pet stores, or buy glass tubes. It helps if I have a plan/draw it out before I actually start building it. If you just dive into it you may make mistakes and waste a lot of materials.

I've made homemade bongs that hit smoother than any glass bong/bubbler I've used. But I've never tried a glass bong with a perc or anything too fancy, just a one chamber.

If you want a few exampled I have some pics of two bongs I've made. I had a badass glass one, but it broke

The first one is just a regular bong with 2 other chambers that filter the smoke again. So in total it filters 3 times.

The second one starts off pretty simple but I made a percolator in the middle. It's really hard to see. You can look up "bong percolator" and see the basics of what it is, and make your own. Only thing that sucks I've found is it's a pain to get the water out once you're done with it.... also you can add a diffuser, shouldn't be too hard.

 

When I make a homemade bong I take 2 pens a bottle and a socket then I mold one pen pen to the socket. I take the bottle cap take a while to make an air tight hole in it fitting the pen. Then i make one whole on to side for the other pen put that pen in. Take the molded one put it in the top and the socket on that and it will be air tight since its molded and works wonders.

 

You get a powerade, gatorade, small milk bottle, (less than 1L)
Measure a piece of hose so the hose goes from one corner of the bottle out the side, with enough room from the bottom, as a proper bong is used. Slowly melt a small hole in the spot where the hosepiece is measured to enter. oush the hose through, keeping it as airtight as possible. Melt a shotty, rushie, thumbhole, whatever you call it, in the opposite side of the bottle around halfway down the hoses measurement. fill with water, insert conepiece, get hiiiiiiiggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh )))))))))))))

my buddy made a bong out of an empty texas mickey of smirnoff vodka. it was crazy - 3 litres of smoke. nobody could clear the chamber in one shot.

 

make a gravity bong is a good idea, only need two plastic bottles, and you can use your glass bowl.
