did some new tattoo's a half moon on my ankle and a tear drop on my inner index finger.yes!me and my sister went a lil wild avec the safety pin.we both did the same-how lame of us but funnnn <3 i love tattooing
Home made tattoos hurt way worse than a real tattoo.I myself am a trained and licensed tattoo artist.Im not against home made tattoos. As long as you use CLEAN supplys everything should be fine.I might suggest to anyone who has ever thought on buying one of those "tattoo kits" do not they are pure and utter poop.IF you must buy tattoo stuff go to the cam tattoo website and order your stuff.India ink will hold for a while buy after about 6 or 7 months it will start to fade and turn green.I use eternal inks. They are a little thicker and hard to work in then most ink pigments but after you learn to work them in the right way the colors will pop and be insanely bright. If anyone has any questions about tattooing, tattoo aftercare, or anything tattoo related feel free to PM me or hit my up on aim at jmizzleinks.
Going way back to the OP: That looks amazing for a homemade one; kudos. I tried it once when I was like...16 or so. On my ankle where the hair ended, because I figured it was the easiest place to hide it from my parents. A crappy little peace sign. The moment I finished it I panicked and immediately convinced myself I was going to die of any number of diseases; so I spent the next few days dousing it with peroxide and scrubbing violently. 75% was gone within a day and for about a month I was left with a couple stray squiggly lines that thankfully faded too.
ohmygod that is a crazy story grim, bleaching up your leg-OW! I've not had a professional tattoo done but I doubt they hurt any less then the ones I do seeing as I'm just poking. And since I'm doing them myself I can go at my own pace,,,take breaks if I want to. I'm doing one tonight on my friend. She either wants a tash/fish.hah
If you don't mind just answering here, how deep would you normally go for the safety pin method? i've known lots of people that have done that, but I've never let them or their needles near me... I also don't know how close holes should be, or wether you should pierce through ink or poke and then ink over it...
