just for the record, i don't think fat is really a relative term. he still looks fat, just like a room full of people with bad livers would still say he looks yellow.

Oh they test them, by isolating one compound and then pumping rats full of it to create unrealistic results. But it is close-minded attitudes like yours that make our society have to choke down expensive prescription pills for everything and that cause horrendous side-effects.

In Europe they test herbal remedies all the time and use them frequently as well.

Steady on. If all "herbal remedies" were stringently tested as well as other medicines...and they proved effective, I'd be first in line for them.
I merely pointed out that some are illegal because they have not been properly tested...rather than a concerted effort to ban "healing herbs".

God only knows what some Chinese medicines contain...so it isn't unreasonable to ban them if they are not properly tested.

You can buy "herbal remedies" they are just unregulated (rather than illegal) on the whole.

Some medicines do cause "horrendous side-effects" just like some "healing herbs"...it's called an allergic reaction.

well, people have opinions, but who cares. As long as they don't start to feed you . And if you like how you are everything is fine. I might be too skinny, too, but that's the way it is.

Referencing to your sig picture I can't imagine from which part of your body he should get the material.

Some weeks ago the local papers had a weired and scary story. Somewhere on the south american continent a gang was accused for hunting people and cooking them to gain their body fat. The fat is sold to cosmetic companies the story told us. They had a picture with a coke bottle filled with yellow stuff. Later the paper conceded that the story might be a hoax.

Yeah I agree, if you force people to eat healthy, not only are you taking away their right to find happiness how ever they want (food). And at the same time you also take away peoples' ability to grow and make healthy choices.
