whoever said that sex for the purpose of pleasure and not procreation has no evolutionary advantage?? Sex brings two people close together. Often makes one want to provide and protect for the other. Well, it clearly is a biological defect considering homosexuality does not make any use of the the sexual organs and fluids to reproduce.
Anywho the problem doesn't lie in there, by calling it "unnatural, wrong" is not to say you're against homosexuals and that you have no respect for them. It's just a personal thought on a subject, which, in my opinion, find totally legitimate. A thought reflecting that homosexuality is just not "normal" because it doesn't use the tools we've ALL been given as human beings properly. If I want nature and existence to keep flowing its course, its inevitable that reproduction must be present and that reproduction is needed. But once again, this opinion is nothing mean if the one who holds it doesn't use it to lower the existence of someone else.

If you want to feel sad and depressed about it, it's not because of those views but because or your own. Maybe tell us why it blows your mind that people think that? Maybe tell us why you're not open to other people's views?
