    she didnt have much time to do the usual"tourists" things but on 2 diferent ocasions she saw people who had been" under the thumb of the goverment"
    she said she knew she was going to be in a different country but dam,is all she would say,I might ask her some questions later on,but i do respect her and i am not going to bother her with any questions now,seems like if they want to talk about their life over there they will talk about it when they are ready! Just my 2 cents of opinion but this opinion has been learning and burning since the vietnam war:rolleyes:

    course if you look at it from a western perspective, saudi has a long way to go. but i've seen it change and this year (last trip 3 weeks back) it looks transformed with the amount of radio channels playin hip-hop, rock et al and its not the aramco! see the women not havin to wear the headcover anymore, the abaya is almost see through. the religious police are not authorised in shoppin malls

    as for the golan heights being a country, its not ..is an occupied part of syria
