It's true the country was behind Bush after 9-11, so much so, the country re-elected Bush in 2004. And most of the Bush bashing started in 2006, when the Democrats took over the majority in Congress. So let's not blame just Bush. This country isn't ruled under a dictatorship. The Democrats are to blame too.

Also, in 2006, that's when the war in Iraq looked liked it was going nowhere, before the surge, the liberal media and Democrats and the misinformed blamed Bush for everything and most of the country jumped on ''let's blame Bush for everything'' bandwagon and blindly voted for ''change'' in a candidate that has little political background and a very shady past.

America rolled the dice with Obama.

I just said he was on a crazy ''let's bash Bush'' rant, like Olbermann.

But noticed, no one is mentioning Obama wants to raise the white flag of surrender in Iraq, give Iraq back over to terrorist and spill more blood in the sands of Afghanistan. How come Skip isn't ranting and raving about that, after accusing Bush of doing the same?

US $ is rising. (for now) They should hang on to 'em so they can buy up every foreclosure in America, every failing business in America, buy every politician in America. Then we will be under Chinese Communism. Go Mao!

If not for political pressure from the people of the US, there would have been no surge. If Bush had not become such a pariah, he would have kept Rumsfeld on. Getting into Iraq was 10 steps back. Flooding the country with our soldiers to tamp down violence helps, but we are still worse off then where we started.

white flag of surrender... i'm all for that!

The surge wasn't all that effective, it was timed to come about at a time when the Iraqi people themselves were already working out solutions to their problems. It looks good on paper but it wasn't the great strategy it's made out to be.

Bush did one thing he managed to demonize the US in the world, during a time when we had their sympathy and support. A great leader could have provided for our national security by closing our borders, and encouraging diplomatic relationships with our past allies instead of alienating Germany, France and Russia because Iraq owed them money.

War with Afghanastan and Iraq have accomplished only one thing for the US they have spread the rise of radical interests.

Are you talking about the world who live in fear and are paralyzed to speak out and bow to terrorist, like all of Europe?

Europe thinks America are the ''bad guys'', but won't say a peep about the maniacs in the middle east, because they're afraid of getting a nuclear missile launched at them or having bombs blown up in their towns and cities.

Europe is paralyzed by fear, but would call on America as soon as they are attacked, for help. And we would help.

The Middle East controls Europe with terrorist mind games.

I hope The United States keeps these bastards on the run and don't turn into chicken shits like most of Europe.

The only forces in the Middle East that control world arenas on any magnitude are Saudi Arabia with their petroleum influence and Israel with US backing and arms.

Pakistan and India are nuclear, do we fear them? We should fear Pakistan we've made them the force they are in the world today. And we have done nothing to stabilize their politics in fact we've corrupted their politics. India I think will only use nuclear force to protect itself. Europe has been dealing with terrorism far longer than we have, and have a much better network of defense against it.

Arabs are no more maniacs than unbridled western interests.

Who's on the run? Have we caught Bin Laden? Al Qaeda didn't exist in Iraq until we invaded. We allowed for the rise of Al Qaeda in an area that was confined, in fact our actions promoted it. The Taliban is still in Afghanastan, just what have we accomplished? We allowed Lebanon a democratic country to be bombed back a decade by Isreal. We've done so much for world security haven't we?

We egged on Georgia to take offensive action that lead to destablization with Russia...we should be so proud...NOT!

The real chicken shit is the one that wads up balls and throws them and let's someone else clean up or live with the mess.

No...but, did anyone say it would be easy?

You act like the war on terrorism is going to be simple.

I guess it's easy for an arm chair quaterback to sit back and do nothing, but bitch and criticize.

yeah, by burying their head in the sand in fear and afraid to speak out...

but, have big mouths when it comes to the United States, because they know we we won't retaliate, unlike the middle east maniacs.

I don't acknowledge a general war on terrorism congress authorized our president to go into Afghanastan and Iraq, not open warfare on the entire world. He had certain goals, he hasn't delivered in eight years.

I will bitch and criticize, it's my right under the constitution.

We could have waged the war on terrorism like the war on cigarettes was waged. Which has been more effective and less expensive. Every school child today knows smoking is bad, but we have school children throughout the world today strapping on bombs.

God had nothing to do with the constitution. Sound minds and reason lead this country to the place it holds today.

NO! Only by the remaining laws and foresight of our constitution.

Bush/Cheney have done their best to erode those rights, but there are still some of us willing to uphold them.

Your god is the same one that is followed by radical Islamics, Christians and Zionists. I prefer to follow reason.
