I've just finished doing oil & filter plus steering-pump belt change for a female mate who has zilch idea what those pretty lights on the dash mean.

So-yer akshal Puggybear [ay thenkyoh]-has just been lying in a puddle,in torrential rain interspersed with sleet,in a bloody windy garden,trying to get my frozen fingers to obey me....and then YOU come along,posing off yer 32 degree heatwave!

I bet it didn't even rain,DID it! [cue massive huff]

I did get a really nice homemade cheesecake,so I s'pose it was worth it

Our 32 degrees are f not c and it is sleeting out there at the moment.

In ontario it was -42 today.... and people are going outside to go tobogganing. Canadians are hxxcore.

This cold snap is starting to get fucked tho

and it's about to hit the US of A as well, and move further East up North, so us Quebecers are fucked, and so is Northeastern US

19 F degrees and a bit of a breeze. Brrr!

 

So on Friday it was 15 degrees, and tomorrow is supposed to be 51. Go figure!

 

Just came in and it is 40f and raining. They are still saying tomorrow will be 0. Did someone say ice?

7f with a real feel of -20f. Bad thing is, This is just the start of it.

 

I think it's cooled down from the low 80s here to about 79°F here in Miami tonight. I hear it supposed to get down to e low 60s on Tuesday tho. Anything below 75° and I hibernate.

 

I just called tomorrow off. We won't be going out and that kind of sucks. It will supposedly be -50+ wind chills and a high or -11 or -12 (-25c-actual temp- for our Canadian friends) I've worked in that kind of weather before and really wanted to put us to the test to see how we would do but the downside out-weighs the upside. As much as I hate the cold, I was kind of looking forward to facing my old arch-enemy tomorrow.

 

I support you not going out. I was worried.
