How cold is it where you are?

Sunny with a touch of spring in the air today....I don't know the temp, but I know I was at least able to tolerate it out there without a coat for quite a few minutes ealrier with the dogs...Now, I got to take them out again.... at least for a mile until they all do their thing.

 

Another beautiful day out, though it's dipped down to -5C. Too bad I can't take advantage of it. But I made chicken soup to help speed up recovery! I'll be well again just in time for tomorrow's snowstorm.

 

Warm and sunny, BF just took a bunch of stuff to the dump for me and him and he said it's hot out after he was done unloading. Yesterday we watched a starling take a bath in the old bird bath which now I have to start cleaning and watching.

 

Its getting hot here with 29 degree celcius

It's -10C and snowing and blowing, and supposed to continue for the next few days.

 

I don't understand why people live in cold climates.

But of course I wonder why I live here every summer, so I suppose it works both ways.

 

We complain a lot but we absolutely love the snow and cold.

We become indoctrinated as children, building Snowmen, Snowball fights, building snow forts, igloos, ice skating, skiing, tobogganing, snowboarding, and no school announcements :2thumbsup:

It is so enchanting to stand on your balcony and take a whiz when it's -20F outside...and to watch your whiz become these beautiful yellow snow flakes, drifting off with the wind....

shirtsleve weather during the day today. just right. if only it could be like this come summer. its waaay to early for this kind of weather were i am now. which makes me wonder if i'll survive this coming summer. we've only had one good storm and a handful of sprinkles all winter. oh it got plenty cold. especially at night. at night it does that most of the year. we just have big temperature swings between daytime and night. even bigger ones in the summer.

its been wonderful walking around weather all week. just wish i had someplace more wonderful to walk around then having to live in a damd city.

well maybe in a few months i'll get my little van of some kind, if i don't fix or replace my 3d printer instead.
