How cold is it where you are?

same here. waaaay too early in the year for that. enough so to worry me a lot. unless you're on the other side of the equator somewhere, and having a more or less ordinary autumn.

 

Aww do the van mnax so you can get out of the city once in a while...it'll do your soul good.

We've had a week of halfway warm weather, too much sloppy snow and ice to walk in the woods yet though.

 

It's really chilled off here. We're down to -21C with the windchill. The lake is frozen over again.

 

Ice skating? Not with that wind chill I suppose...:freezing:

Nah, we just wrap up and brave the cold. That's a good idea... once you're on the ice and moving around you warm up pretty quickly!

 

True...I loved ice skating as a kid. I never had skates that fit well, they were always hand-me downs that were too small, I remember skating for hour and hours until I was practically frostbit my feet ached!

 

I think there were a lot of us like that. I grew up with two brothers and four male cousins (I remember always having to play the damsel in distress when I wanted to be a knight dueling the villains!) so my hand-me-downs were always boy's skates. I had to wear extra socks so they would fit (somewhat). I bought my first pair of white girl's skates at 15 when I got a summer job and could finally skate properly.

 

Was awesome here today, I could have gone without a windbreaker but took it anyway just invade because we didn't know what we were going to do for sure. If we went closer to the lake it gets chillier. Ended up on my side of town most of the time, did a few errands and back home so BF could go home and work on his car for a while, then we will do a movie later this evening, maybe a few more of my favorite things,,, hee hee.

 

It started to get pretty cold again when night-time came

 

Was 88 degrees here today. lol

-19c here...windchill -27c....spring is beginning

 

16f now. They say we might get into the 40's today. 60's later in the week. Yesterday we did not get above freezing and it was very windy.

 

43F (6c).

 

-21 now, but should be up to -6C and sunny this afternoon.

 

lol You know we don't get spring here until May. Sometimes June.
