How cold is it where you are?

The air felt very cold this morning (-9F), then later it didn't seem as cold. I went for a walk in my snowsuit and after a bit of walking, felt very warm. When I got home the thermometer read 1F.

 

-15 ....-20 in the wind


cold enough to not want to just stand there while bbq'ing my supper

 

Didn't get above freezing today, it was 26F when I walked up to get the mail a little while ago. Very pleasant 75F inside with the wood furnace idling...

It was -4F this morning. It's about 3F right now and we're expecting it to get around -8 or so overnight with -25-30 wind chills. Good times.

Other than bring in some firewood earlier and putting out some bird seed I didn't go out today... The high temp was 23F with 20 mph winds. Technical term "fuggin' cold"

got down to 9f night b4 last. day before that it finally snowed for the 1st time. only an inch or so, but because it has stayed cold enough, its still there. 32f-9f=23f below freezing.
glad i've got my nice warm coat, even if it is ten years old and all bummified looking. i think i'll be getting a new one sometime soon, now that i can afford it.
also glad for a nice warm house.
