Just reread my original post. I must have been in an unusually bad mood that day. Started out about -5, got up to maybe 13 today.
damn cold and windy today......but took dogs 4 miles anyway...I do not know what temp is....as it is colder where I am....felt way below zero again in the wind.
don't you just love it when the cold gets in your bones and nothing works to get it out but a hot bath...
Cold but not extreme ......... Partly cloudy 10°F RealFeel® -12° F https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-HskPCT1z_U Hotwater

Hello, ha, that's nothing! We had nearly 15C today! Take that, woman! OK, the last days it was dark and gray and foggy at around freezing. But today it was great . Regards Gyro
The Dutch settled further south in New Amsterdam (New York City) - so they had very little influence here in New England :bigcry: Hotwater
Well, some settled in Boston too. You don't need many dutch to leave a lasting influence But I doubt the dutch (or most settlers or hard working people in general) in those days were just as fond of a shitload of snow as we can be now. But the love for ice does goes back to those days and earlier: Looks like they invented hockey as well : All made around 1665
