In little over 2 years I've amassed about 15k posts. My first month or so I hit 3k posts on my first name.

And I was a drugged out, cranky kid

 

I'm one to talk on post whoring. In two years, I will probably have over 20k posts. But I do try to stay ontopic, despite what some might believe.

 

I used to be skips landscaper, and he gave me the job.

 

I was winning until I got banned

Actually, I wasn't refering to you at all. The only thing about you is that you just naturally seem to not like me for whatever reason, but to each his own.

Sorry about the thread on...well, you know who...I honestly didn't know it was against guidelines, or I wouldn't have posted.

And I'm not paranoid...BUT...why is it certain people always latch onto some of my comments, when they really aren't all that important, even to me??

 

The fact that you were banned means you were losing. See I posted in every thread on the front page in a manner that corresponded with all forum guidelines. You spammed.

See the difference? Replying to each thread, on topic and genuinely, and doing so quickly is much different than going through and posting one word responses in everything just to see your name across the front page.

I wasn't there so I don't know. But I have been accused of the same thing, when I was sincerely posting ontopic in every thread. If i feel I have something to add, i will damn well post, even if i've posted in EVERY thread three pages deep. but if i've got nothing, i'll keep my mouth shut.

 

Contrary to not only my belief, but the belief of others; it was the belief of others that got you temp banned as I don't, and probably never will, have that authority. Also got me yelled at for encouraging such behaviour with my own behaviour.

Either way, there was something different between our two actions because I did to a larger degree what you attempted to do, and you were banned, not I.

Thread content and your intention for posting go a long way.

 

If you feel you have something to add, then make sure you are adding something. That's the important part. People can't read your minds. They can only interpret your actions. If it looks like you're spamming then that is how it is taken, regardless of what you yourself thought you were doing.

 

And another thing, posting 'agreed' or the like shouldn't really be considered spamming...there are many threads with nothing more than a smiley as a response and no one ever mentions those.
