How Do I Find Out Who All The Mods Are?

you know seriously, if someone was personally attacked more than anyone else on the forum, its me.

all because of my "mod status" people think they are rebels and shit, by calling me outright names and threats, even....... and it takes alot for me to even consider banning them or locking their posts.

also, discussions are allowed......... calling someone a dumbass, or a faggot, or an asshole is just personal attacks...... and is NOT allowed.

and this person who thinks he is defending his good name is taking things way out of proportion here, and way too seriously. I never once mentioned his name until he attacked me first.

Is it possible for you to be involved in a discussion w/o putting words in the mouths of others?

At any rate you and I have different ideas what constitutes the necessity of defending One's Good name/ reputation.

BTW the above quote ranges from valid points to the absurd...

 

What words did I insinuate you said? If you're going to pose a question such as that back it up with a quotation that shows I fabricated one of my ideas from something that was not said.


Edit: I believe the only thing that constitutes a necessity for defending ones self is the stating of facts that cannot be proven. Opinions are merely that; they're opinions. Ones perception of another. If one feels the need to defend ones self against anothers opinions, that's the defenders problem.

You mentioned him, and him only. This means that you made a direct accusation about him jumping you when he made what would be viewed as a personal, general opinion.

As I mentioned about spamming. It's not what you intend to say that is understood. It's only what you say that can be interpreted.

And if I'm not mistaken, Indiscribability said it above awhile back....it is ok to post saying that you feel someone was mean to you, and that you feel the need to defend yourself. I had no Idea we weren't aloud to say another member's name. It's only slander if it isn't accurately backed.

 

You asked a very general question as stated below:

It just concerns me that one mod in particular might get pissed at me one day, for no particular reason, and ban my ass just because he doesn't like me.



which seems to resemble alot of other posts you made about me in that thread about me bein a power mod as an example....... and which particular mod were you referring to, huh? you said "one mod in particular" which usually means one mod you have in mind, and from your previous posts, I know who that person is.

 

Calling out one person among all who have shared in that opinion is a direct accusation. He stated, in different words, an opinion I also stated, but you called him out by name.

Also, you failed to back up the accusation you made. The only thing you were able to call upon was a general opinion stated by the person in question.

Also, slander is verbal. Libel is in print. Something I'vebeen trying to clear up for a while around here.

 

This whole thing started when I voiced my concern that a certain mod who does not like me might ban or suspend me for no apparent reason. i never named names in this case. Madcrap assumed i was referring to him, which is disproven in my quote above, and from there things went from bad to worse. But he is the one that jumped to conclusions about me, first.

He made mention to people who say others are taking things too seriously, being the ones who are, in all actuality, taking things too seriously. You took that to mean you since you were the most recent one, in this thread, to make such a comment.

I've been here for going on 5 years, and I'll tell you now: You're not the first or last to make a comment like that.
