^^ Olive Garden's a lot nicer than Applebees. I never eat at Applebees, and if I'm with people who want to go there, I just come along and drink the entire time. I was told by someone who works there that they don't actually cook anything in the back... everything is heated up in a frier or the microwave. Appetizing huh? I hate chain restaurants in general. I've been way too spoiled from eating at delicious little ma and pa restaurants that I'd never go out of my way to eat in an Applebeers or Chili's or Red Robin or Friday's or whatever else.
Olive Garden close to where I live has all you can eat soup, salad and breadsticks for 7.99..the soup is really good.
and u can suck my ass and pretend its applebees--i usually post stoned so if u see a repeat thread skip it and keep you dumb ass shit to yourself---jackass
undies, I typically automatically hate chain restaurants. Sorry if that's stupid. but you know all about how things are done, since you worked at Pizza Hut for a while. It's all about every Pizza Hut delivering the same product to the customer... following rules.. therefore a lot of things are frozen, not fresh... and not given that delicious homecooked taste. You know what I mean right? Blah, I'm a snob.
i know, pizza hut is fucking awful. but i would still enjoy eating their food occasionally if i hadn't eaten so damn much of it... sure, fresh homemade food is better. but chain food still tastes good, even if it's not as good. if it didn't taste good, the chain would not be in business. if someone doesn't like a particular restaurant, that's perfectly fine with me. i just get annoyed by all the people here that automatically jump into any thread about anything remotely popular and announce how much they hate that thing, usually with no reasonable explanation. i'm sure some people are telling the truth, but it just feels like a lot of it is people trying to sound cool, and it really makes them sound stupid and desperate for approval to me. hell, i would never choose to go to applebees either, but it's still a lot better than anything i would cook myself. i show plenty of respect to those who earn it. i've never seen you post before, and the very first post i saw from you was a necropost that you immediately repeated, so i made light of that fact. then you flipped out and attacked me three times in one post.
my homemade meal sometimes consists or Roast Beef Ramen w/ hamburger meat..so applebees should be able to beat that easily
You're also probably not as much of a food snob as me. A lot of nights I won't even eat dinner because there's nothing 'delicious' available to me... and I'd rather not eat than eat a can of soup or a hot pocket or something. lol. I guess what I also meant to say is that I'm pretty much VERY skeptical of eating out because of freshness / cleanliness... and even more so when it's a chain restaurant and I know nothing is even remotely fresh. Yeah. My friends make fun of me for it too. I haven't ate fast food in probably like 8 years due to the germ aspect, not even the health aspect...
i think we must be food-opposites. i would rather eat a turd than be hungry (only a slight exaggeration). and while i obviously prefer fresh food, as long as the food isn't noticeably rotten it doesn't really bother me. same with cleanliness; if i drop food on the floor, i'll still probably eat it as long as there isn't any visible dirt or grime on it (this one does depend on the floor too; i wouldn't eat off the bathroom floor for example, but a clean kitchen floor generally wouldn't bother me).
I think Applebees is over-rated. It costs too much for mid-quality chain food. I mostly eat at locally owned restaurants here. The non-chain food options are one of the best things about WS.
