How do you get grease off a pan?

    seriously, the grease will turn into a carbon creosote, then you can take a simple oil, and take it off.

    you can dissolve it with alcohol

    you can use WD 40 is this is machine grease the pan was packed in

    you can use it to season the pan (like you season cast iron, all pans can be seasoned except for coated pans <teflon, silverstone>)
