I only eat steak from The Westside SteakHouse in McAlester Oklahoma. And it's rare with nothing on it...and it's always delicious... holly
I don't really eat "steak" although I will eat cow in other forms. But so help me god if there is ANYTHING remotely pink in that hunk of cow I am NOT eating it! I like hamburgers With pickles and cheese and mushrooms. Mmmmm
Steaks are great. I like mine medium-rare, and I usually season mine with my own mixture of salt, garlic, onion, and lemon pepper. Mushroom sauce is also very good on steaks. Mmm, I'm hungry.
Grilled when possible, broiled in a pinch, never from a frying pan. S & P, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, garlic over HOT coals, turned only once to medium to medium-well no sauce -- a well-cooked steak shouldn't need any, but if needed, A1 Anybody else shreek in horror when somebody ruins a good steak by putting KETCHUP on it?????????
Yep, I used to cook steak for my ex and spent a lot of time making sure I used the right about of spices. She just covered the whole thing in ketchup I didn't mind though, as long as she enjoyed it
my wife -- and she gets an earful from me everytime she does ......but now she uses Heinz 57, which is tolerable
you people and your well/medwell steaks, nasty!! I like mine pink and juicy.... (hmm sounds like Im talking about something else).... medium rare is the way to have it... with grilled onions/peppers, and mushrooms. I work at a steakhouse as a grill cook/meatcutter. I can make yall nice steaks. how about a porter?? or a nice ribeye, anyone?? bacon wrapped filet, perhaps?
