How far back can you remember?

The first thing I can remember is when I was I think 2. I was standing outside the house, all alone. It was dark and I was really scared. And there was a strange scary person on a motorcycle...
And I remember when we first came here when I was 3.The war had already started and we came to this small crowded apartment with like 20 or more people. I remeber sleeping on the floor, then hearing the sirenes and then running to the basement...My first memories were all stuff like that.

 

I remember my mom being pregnant with my brother, and he was born 3 months after my 3rd birthday. My only earlier memory before that was when we were having our front driveway paved, and I was apparently 18 months old when that happened.

 

I have a few memories of being 2 and 3 but who knows if those won't pass considering i'm only 16. Oddly enough I have only a few more memories per year every year after that.

 

i remember falling into the pool when i was 2.

a lot of my memories i think are from seeing things on video though, my dad took a lot of video when i was little. i vaguely remember going food shopping with mum was one of my favourite things. i still like going food shopping

 

what war was going on in 1992?

 

I can remember a few things from back when I was maybe two or three. Even a few vague thoughts, I think.
A few of the most vivid memories are that of when I was probably two-three and I was playing in our backyard and a flock of black cockatoo’s flew into one of our lemon trees and sat there for a very long while.

Another of when I was three (I think) and I was laying out on the lawn with my dog and watching the sky.

Another one with my dog was when we were sitting in our pantry and eating dog biscuits together. "One for Cam... one for me. One for Cam... two for me"

Another was sitting with my grandad in one of the side cars of a motorbike when he came to visit us in Kalgoorlie. Again, I would have been around three or four.

There are many more but those are a few of my fondest.

 

i remember being in a playpen crying watching all the grown people standing in the livingroom talking to each other and dan rather was on the television. i was prolly two

 

the gulf war. youre an aussie, right? i dont think your country had anything to do with that war.

 

now that i think about it, i remember the feeling of having no teeth, only gums. i remember when i lost my teeth when i was younger i remember thinking about when i didnt have any teeth, like it was recent, but now that i think about it, you start to get teeth when you're like 1.

did that make any sense?

 

yeah. i thought there might have been something going on. too far away i guess.

Wait I take that back I found out that at the reunion I was 1.5 years old.

 

it's really not that unusual to remember things as far back as one or two. i remember a lot of things. i've yet to find someone who doesn't, given the proper stimulus or relaxation.

 

I tend to be hazy before 12 too. I can remember my 5th birthday party. I got these jump ropes with cat handles taht meowed. I remember when our VCR got stolen when I was around 5.
