How far will Trump go before he concedes?

The Republican Party has become the Party of Trump. It needs to be heavily purged.

 

I wish he would take it to the highest court in the land. Even the Supreme court would bow to Judge Judy.

 

I'd love to see Judge Judy, who endorsed Joe Biden, read Trump the riot act in her court. But then he'd probably say something like, "She's not a real judge".

 

That's okay... Trump wasn't a real president.

 

Now there are 106 House Republicans backing the Texas bid to overturn the election. Do they really fear Trump and his followers so much that they'd throw their support behind such a hopelessly lost cause?

To make things worse, Pat Robertson says that God will intervene in favor of the lawsuit and keep Trump as President. When that doesn't happen, will he say that God has abandoned the country?

And so the Supreme Court has dismissed the Texas lawsuit, won't even let it go to trial. Basically they said Texas, or any state, has no jurisdiction over how other states handle elections. Just as we expected. So what's next? Haven't heard Trump's reaction yet, will he attempt something even more outlandish, or will he finally hang it up?

 

Probably...

 

Maybe. He'll never concede, will always say it was rigged, but I think he might finally give up trying to overthrow the election this Monday when the Electoral College certifies Biden as the winner.

He'd say something like, "I know I was cheated out of the election, but I've run out of options as far as challenging it and it's time to let it go. I'll see you in 2024 when I run again."

Sadly, this is the best I can hope for.

I still have some small hope that he'll give up his vindictiveness and stop trying to divide the country, tell his minions to accept Joe Biden as President for the time being until we can get a Republican back in the White House. Hope.

The GOP doesn't really want Trump... They want Trump's base and will do anything to keep hold of them.

 

Given time Trump will lose his stranglehold on the Republican electorate and the ass kissers in office can then relax, but the first few months of Biden's Presidency will be rough. He'll have to fight hard to win their grudging half-hearted support. A lot depends on what Trump does in his final days, if he keeps dividing the country on and after January 20 then Americans will be at each other's throats. I might not want to travel to any red states when I have Oregon license plates.
