How Have People You Opened Up To Reacted?

I’ve only revealed this to a few close friends and family. It was kind of inevitable to come up in college, sharing dorm rooms, then apartments. My roommates were all totally ok with it, if nobody else was around.

Overall, maybe a third have been very understanding and supportive, completely ok with my nudity around them, without joining in as well.

Most of the rest seem to think it’s amusing in a friendly/giggly way, and are fine with it, but might burst into a giggly laugh if they “catch” me that way accidentally. These were friends & close family, so even if they didn’t understand it, they still accepted it since they liked me.

A more conservative couple were clearly uncomfortable with it, so I haven’t raised it again, with no real problem.

Long ago, I made a point of making my nudist preferences clear to my wife on out first date, and her acceptance was one if the reasons I married her! She may not partake in it nearly as often as I do, but we’re happy.

 

So far I have only told family that I go nude now (for the last 2+ years). None of them seemed offended, and some joke about it now. but no one has come over to the house to go nude with me. . Nore do they seek me out when they come over and my wife tells them that I am in the backyad naked. They all know if they come over there is a chance that I will not havew any clothes on.

 

Lets hope they do and then everyone can just join and be comfortable together
