weed has never changed my life either negatively, or positively. I started smoking like 9 years ago, and I smoked on and off, and it wasn't until last year that I started smoking daily. But I recently had to quit cause I need to have a clean system to try to attain full custody of my daughter. But anyway, pot is just something I use for relaxation. I don't use it socially, and I don't smoke all day. Just nightly, but I was able to quit and not have any problems. It was the easiest thing I've ever done. Probably since I know I can go back to it soon though.

Drinking on the other hand... Is a little tougher to quit. I use alcohol for the same reasons, and that has affected my life negatively in the past. My use, and others around me. But I've cooled off on that, and only drink once or twice a week now. And that's just a glass or two of wine.

    So weed > alcohol

Heres the flip side of losing friends when you start smoking weed....once you decide to stop smoking weed, you'll probably lose some of your "best friends" that way too. In my opinion, being friends because of weed is pretty stupid.

fuck them. if you're gonna be an asshole to me because I smoke weed, I'm glad I found out as soon as I did. not going to let people give me shit about the choices I make.

but how has it affected me? I find that most people are really tolerant, and it's a very good way to connect with someone new.
