How long did your great sex last in your relationship?

    What goofy said. If after the sex starts to die down a bit, you should be able to still be happy with each other and eventually get back to doing it more regularly. Maybe when the honeymoon phase ends you realize you have no real intimacy beyond sex, then you move on. If you can get past it and still enjoy the other person's company, then there shouldn't be a problem.

    This is not universally true, even though it might be true in your limited expereince.
