only my rent, until i move, which i hope doesn't HAVE to be as soon as i fear. i've lived the past two and half years with the best housemates i've ever had in my life. unfortunately the one who owns the place is/has sold it. so what i'll be facing in a new place will remain unknown until i'm there. no bills because i don't use credit. which, unfortunately seems to be a problem, because so many places are managed by property management contractors who, all they care about is credit ratings, which, because i haven't used any for the past 40 years at least, i think i've only used credit once in my life, i think that makes mine kind of like minus zero, or something. i guess i'll find some dive like i was living in before i moved up here that don't. at least i hope i can find at least that. wish i was back up at bed spring acres, now that i have my little bit of retirement income.
You can get a credit card and not really use it. Just use it once and pay back immediately. That might give you some good credit before you move? There's plenty of places too where you can live and have someone co-sign for you. I have a lot of bills but it's silly stuff like subscriptions to netflix and kids subscription services, as well as business subscriptions I have. Other than that it's the basics, plus one credit card. I don't have cable though.
I am responsible for my cell phone, credit card, and household groceries. My husband takes care of everything else (rent, cable/internet, heat, ect).
