How many times do you wear clothes before you wash them?

i don't count how many times, is simply stop wearing until it gets washed again, what ever gets smelly or gets something that makes it look like crap spilled on it.

that could be anywhere from once, depending on weather, i sweat somewhat easily, and how clumbsy i am that week, to maybe most of a couple of weeks.

i don't wear crappy looking t-shirts with advertising crap on them, just solids, preferably nerd shirts with nerd pockets, or a few brightly colored (preferably lime) 'tees' with MY OWN artwork on them. and i can't stand denum pants either. they DON'T last as long or as well as my dark brown double knit synthetic bells.

socks i don't put on unless i'm going out, where i might need or want to ride public transportation or eat someone else's cooking. for that matter, i don't wear much of anything unless i'm going out or my wife drags someone over. and i don't go out all that often. so you can see where, it might sometimes take me several weeks to wear anything more then a very few times.

at any rate, every couple of weeks, if not sooner, whenever the dirty clothes is full, i run a load through the washing machine and dryer.

so the question of "how many times" becomes problimatical and difficult to judge. i'd have to do some kind of keeping track for a while to be able to answer that in a more direct and litteral manor. like spoc would say: "2.136789 times" or something.

Yeah exactly, i rarely change my bra...like twice a week maybe...haha. And im a hygeine freak too. But those things never get smelly or dirty, im telling you. Who gets sweaty boobs?

Other clothes: pants (as in underwear...British ) once
Jeans or trousers: once or twice depending on the smell/dirt factor. Maybe 3 times if its a desperate situation and they seem ok
Skirts and shirts: Usually just once

 

Mine get sweaty sometimes.

 

how ever long it takes for the SO to wash them.

 

after I wear them once....I have to , working around the animals its impossible to stay clean ...especially if its muddy.

 

Until it's either dirty or smelly.

pants, shorts - 2 maybe 3 days at most. Depending on what I do that day, if im just sitting around i'll wear them again. My work pants are washed everyday though, they get extremely sticky and dirty.

 

Jeans I can wear and even sleep in for weeks. Shirts I can wear for a week (depending on how active I’ve been throughout that week though). With my bra’s, I only have two...and undies I change daily...In regards to socks, if I don’t have any clean, I steal my parents.

 

lots and lots of times... no washer/dryer. my bf is worse than me, though. at least i have various pants & skirts to switch off; he has one pair of pants. ONE. he has to wear them everyday to work, where he makes pizzas. so he has floury pizza-smelling pants that get washed MAYBE once a month. they completely gross me out. i make him wear pyjamas or scrubs as soon as he gets home because his pants smell so funky. whatever. he's still super-cute, though.

 

the only thing I'll wear more than once is pants. Everything else gets a 1 day use, then in the wash it goes.

 

i feel like a freak now............

i'm gonna say i'm a conserver of water and energy

and i'm surprised i'm not a troll living under a bridge or something......
i wash my clothes when they smell bad, but for the most part they smell good, like me...i smell good

lately when i run out of undies i go out and buy new ones

i am not a hygiene freak at all
i'm like, so un-hygienic it's absurd

to answer the original question i maybe wash my clothes once a month...maybe....

 

depends on what I'm doing in them and it depends on how long I wear them each day. Generally 2 or 3 times. Pants usually a little less than that because I'm short and most of them drag on the ground

 

Everything gets worn once- except bras and jeans. Bras I wear about three times- unless I work out in them, then it's once. Jeans 2-4 times.

 

I wear everything only once before washing.

 

jeans, shorts, t-shirt, tank tops i'll wear them for a week before washing them, since i wash once per week. i have 2 pair of my work uniform pants so i'll wear one pair for 2 days and the other for 3. work uniform shirts i have 3 of them so i wear 2 for 2 days each and one for 1 day. i have not worn underwear for years. i only wear socks for work, so i'll usually wear one pair for a week.

Jeans, I usually wear two or three days, depending on what I've been up to. Shirts, usually once, though I have a tendency to wear the same polo twice with a different undershirt each time. Socks and underwear, never more than once, PERIOD. I stay on my feet alot, especially when I work, so both of those areas need daily tending. haha

I know it's not on the list but I felt like adding I've been wearing the same pair of Oakley tennis shoes for just over a year now. Very comfy. But it is getting to be time to trade up pretty soon.

 

I dont own alot of clothing so I cant alternate alot without doing a load of laundry.

 

i own like 2 pairs of jeans and maybe four t-shirts. i wear jeans like 3 weeks and i change shirts maybe twice a week
