I play piano and practice about an hour a day. Well, I aim for an hour. Sometimes it's 45 minutes, but sometimes it's an hour and a half... so it averages out to an hour.
i dont really practice, i just jam. but i guess that could be considered practicing... so idk 3 hours a day, maybe a little less. but ill just pick up my guitar and start playing. and ill play until i have somethin else to do haha peace~
i play about 10 hours a week but haven't been "studying or practicing" recently. Just playing. When I did take professional lessons once a week I found that about 10 hours of study and practice was needed per week let alone time to jam.
the more you practise the better you get and the more control you have over making the music sound more..musical...and yeah!
Practice for 10-14 hours a day. Don't stop even if your fingers bleed. This is how Ravi Shankar got good.
I try and play 30mins a day on each instrument - sax, piano, guitar, bass, and whatever then happens to be my latest obsession (i switch around with mandolin, clarinet, tin whistle, recorder and such). I dont really think its enough, but it gets quite hard to find time.
