Depends on the situation for me. I used to care a lot about what others thought, but now I generally don't trust people too much. If I listen too much to other people's opinions, my life might go in a direction I don't want to travel.

it'll make you miserable if you worry too much about what other people think.

personally, some days i feel more vunerable than others but most of the time i dont give a flying rat shit what other people think of me. i feel happiest when im like that, untouchable maybe

their opinion of what? and why?

i value other people's happiness. eveyone's happiness, not me Or everyone else but me AND everyone else.

or should i say everyone else AND me?
odd as i may be, i'm still a subset of the set "everyone".

i don't what to make anyone unhappy or suffer or anything negative,
i just think that's more important then what any says they feel about me
or what i try to create and do.

we all have different ways of seeing, so all sorts of different oppinions are to be expected.
no one can ever please everyone and there's no gratification in attempting to

what matters is the kind of world we all have to live in, and the real influence each of us has on THAT.

some people have a better idea how that works then others and many appear to lie to themselves about it entirely so i have to take opinions about myself with varying size grains of salt depending on where they seem to be comming from.

i don't know of any other answer to this question that makes more sense.

other then my gratification as much as everyone else's neither more nor less, i really don't see anything as being ABOUT "me".

the kind of world we have to live in, how much it enables and encourages real gratification and real, to whatever degree, freedom from anxiety, these things i care about themselves, more then what someone else assumes or immagines, and certainly more so then what they may say to or about me.

of course we all like a bit of what has been called egoboo, the pat on the back sort of thing. i'm no exception, but if something i make isn't to someone else's taste, i'm sure we'll both survive.

i'm not sure i understand, have ever fully understood, what there is about any of us for any other of us to feel about. other then how we act and treat each other and the world all of us have to live in.
