How much or how little contact do you have now with your school friends?

Well, maybe you can nominate yourself to be reunion organizer...

 

I lost touch with absolutely all of my school friends when I moved away from my home town ( pre internet) However I returned for a visit a few years later and looked up a couple of mates. We went to a bar we used to go to but it had changed from a music venue to a stripper bar. Stayed for drinks anyway and to our collective shock/surprise a girl we knew from high school was one of the strippers.

 

All my friends now were my high school friends. We went to different schools tho, mostly.
I talk to maybe one other outside this group, super occasionally.

 

I posted before that I only keep in contact with my best friend from school, but this week I met up with a guy that I dated a couple of times in high school. It was absolutely amazing to find him in this very unusual location where I am right now, on vacation. He told me that he lives only about a mile from our old school. We've spent a lot of time in the past 3 days talking about school days and people and everything from almost 25 years ago.

 

As a kid, we moved a lot. By the time I got used to living in a new location, it was about time to move to a different place. My memories of grade school, high school are fuzzy at least, and diluted by the passage of time. The only names I remember are guys that I played sports with. The names of all the girls are lost from my brain.
