ROFLOL!!! Aww, thanks Brandonveg! My hip is a mess. Well, all of my joints are really. I have a genetic disorder that's basically a collagen deficiency. It causes all sorts of joint problems that I just need to "deal with" and an arthritic hip-joint is just the latest in a looooooong line of issues. This is one of the reasons that I've gone vegetarian, but don't think I could ever be vegan. Gelatins are one of the few things my body can handle, that helps with the collagen issue. love, mom
i wouldnt call my diet strict, just conscious. for example, i avoid pepsi which is vegan, because i see them as one of the evil groups of people who are collectively fucking up this world. poisoning and addicting people, making them stressed and tired, and just not being conscious responsible citizens on planet earth. i also avoid some other thigns like high fructose corn syrup, and other gmo things that wreck havock on my insides. i try to avoid a lot of processed food as well, and when i do eat it i try to eat it consciously of how it effects me, and the other life here on this planet, thats all. i think ethical eating stretches beyond veganism, and there are many vegan products in grocery stores that are anything but what most thinking people would consider ethical. i wouldnt call it a diet, or something i put myself through and something thats a hardship on me... its just what i do, and i enjoy my food and eating and shopping much more now really.
