How to remove Trojan?

    I use and stand by the Big Daddy of the virus protection game-NORTON!-Good firewall protection-For the small stuff I use Spyware Detector-I tried the freebies and like these much more-

    I thought I got rid of the viruses,but their still there.I have like 4 trojans in my virus vault.It won't let me heal the damn things!

    If it's just the Trojan files then delete them from the vault. If they are embedded in a program you use, then the best thing is to delete the program turn off system restore run another scan to be sure, then reinstall the program you like with a fresh copy. What AV program are you using?

    Two of the infected are the "System Volume"..Whats that?

    The System Volume Information folder is the system restore information. Go to start, right click on my computer and hit properties. Go to the System Restore tab and check the box that says turn off system restore on all drives. This will purge the entire system restore files including the Trojans contained within. Then run your scan again. Heal the infected files if more are found, or delete the file that contains the Trojan. When you are able to get a clean scan, then go back and uncheck the system restore box. A new system restore point will be created.

    last time i checked, you can install something called 'Ubuntu'... or just go with 'Fedora Core'. try to google those
