Things are going great actually. School is going well, I am actually passing everything this time! Things are going well with the ol' boyfriend. Nothing too exciting is going on though, basically just the same old, same old. (I have the postcards you sent me hanging on my fridge, they're awesome!)
I'm happy to hear everything's doing well for you And I hope your fridge can handle a few more postcards, cause I'll keep them comin'!
Well, in THAT case. Of course, I remember you, Penny. Didn't you used to live in Amsterdam? How do like the USA in comparison? Have you been able to travel around here much yet?
Penny! Glad you're doin' good here in Jersey... Head to North Western Jersey & check out the sites like Buttermilk Falls & Tillman's ravine... Hop over the border to PA & see Bushkill Falls, Raymanskill Falls & some of the fun that the Kittatinny Canoe folks can sell you...heh heh...the Delaware River is mighty in spots... Peter's Valley at the end of Kuhn Road after the town of Layton right before the Dingman's bridge is a great place to visit.... http://www.pvcrafts.org/ Plenty 'o shit to do....
Hi! Yeah, yeah I am still alive... Thanks for the touristic info, logicalway! And tarabelle, actually I'm from France, but I was living in Spain before I moved. Well, I really like it here, but to be honest I used to like it better, at the begining... I don't mean New York, though. I'll ALWAYS love New York, but the subburban life here in Montclair, it's getting to be boring. And people are so fake, and they're so... I don't know, I might sound crazy but I prefer New Yorkers, I can relate to them more. I mean the whole thing with acting fake so that the neighbors think you're great, I hate it, and here, it's the number one rule. And well, I couldn't say enough about how much I hate this government, but I'm not gonna go into it, I've gotten tired of political debates (I've had too many lately with too many pricks). BUT! College is great, New York is great, and Nick is great, so, everything's great!
i remember you penny! so here's an official hello, though you probably have no idea who i am. my sn was onyx on the old hipforums but we never really talked, i was more of an appreicater of your pictures.
Aww, come on, of course I know who you are, psyche-onyx! How could I forget about such a beautiful person *hug* thanks for saying hi!
Penny, you are from Spain? My mom and dad went there and had only good things to say about it. It seems that back then (about 30 years ago) your country was a dictatorship? Is my memory correct? This picture has a tile painting in the background that they brought back from there - Don Quixote.

And people are so fake, well, you've learned an important truth about life in America, the suburbs suck, and are the root of malaise and apathetic evil. tarabelle, yes Spain was under a dictator named General Franco until the mid 70's
Well, I'm not from Spain, I'm from France, but I did live in Spain for a few years - I didn't really like the area where I was, I suffered from A LOT of insults against the French - an old, Napoleon thing, if you can believe it! But the rest of Spain is indeed great, especially Andalousia and Barcelona, a very hip city. My family is moving back to France this summer though... so Spain is over for me, unless I decide to go on a trip there sometime.
Yep, definitely... I keep telling Nick: "please promise me we'll never live in a suburb, let's live in the Village!" hehe. I'm in love with Greenwich Village.
Penny, I'm sorry, I got them backwards. Napoleon huh?, that's some long memories! Hey, and thanks, seamonster! Franco! That's it - my parents thought he had done a good job. Kinda changed their minds about dictatorships alittle bit.
