whoo-doggys! I haven't seen that much snow fall at once since I was a kid. I just doesn't seem to snow as much in the west anymore.
The entire west is in a drought, and its causing the land to rise!

Love the pic! No need for hat or gloves where I am at (Pacific Northwest). But I still remember the harsh winters I survived in Chicago during my youth. Hell, it got so cold that sometimes even waiting for a bus became a life threatening experience. Still, I miss all the snow. Especially during the Christmas season :)

overcast with a very light but very steady drizzle, upper 60s. The weather hasn't deviated from this since Friday. I loved it the first couple of days, now I think I need to start taking vitamin d supplementa

we're expecting 12 - 14 inches of rain this weekend from hurricane Joaquin in addition to all the rain we had last weekend. They're calling this a historic, 1 in 1000 year flood. So there's that.

gloriously wet. deserts been deep enough for a dog to swim in. goin on the third day now. i ought to head out for groceries as they're startin to get a bit low. i mean on some things i like to keep on hand. still got plenty enough to eat for a week or maybe even a month, but out of things like frozen and fresh veggies, frozen or instant pasta, and dead cows.
much as i like weather, my one coat for it is kind of bummified looking. i wanted to get one when they should have been cheaper because it wasn't the season for them, but i couldn't find one anywhere.
now they'll be sky high expensive, if the stores even have em in yet.

waiting on some torrential downpours and flooding. Isn't it weird how there is always a sense of excitement and anticipation before a big weather event? And then it hits and its like, oh wait this sucks.
