I agree with Dok, being hugged by someone you hardle know in person is a bit odd and yeah fake in many ways to you the person recieving the hug. But as for hugs in general i love them, dandy is big on hugs and huggling ans snuggling! Woah, so Dok man. Here is a voucher one Dandy hug, feel free to use it any time should you need it and don't use it without due concideration! Or maybe you feel someone else needs it more than you then you give it someone else and then the voucher transfers into your name and then that hug is from you to someone else if they might need it. Hugs are a way of saying hey, i am here for you, i care about you, its a greeting, its friendly and its full of love! So, take care of your hugs people. A hugs not just for christmas you know! Hold the phone, call the press, newsflash, headline shock, I agree with you.... I do like hugs, but hugs need to have a meaning. Hugs are great, warm, loving and welcoming, but I think they're more special if there's meaning behind them and not random....

ah, random hugs are cool too!!! but their are so many different types of hugs....like a hug, a huggle, an embrace, a cuddle, a *manly* embrace (you know the ones, they're crap)...it all depends on the meaning behind it, and who it's with i'd hug y'all, but in different ways
the same thing can be said for many things .. too many hugs given freely is a bit of a vague statement .. doesn't really estblish anything.
If you hug anyone and everyone, then your hugs are devalued. When you hug someone, they no longer think "this person really cares for me" or whatever, because they know your hugs are cheap. So yeah, a bit like sex now you come to mention it (no pun intended!).
