No, its not fixed. Nevermind. When i click on it, it still brings up the profile of boring Eric with no excitement in his name Whatever. The only Eric who matters knows exactly who he is
I drove thru 130 miles of her rain today .. it was mostly light .. up into the mountains, got foggy and misty and I drove out on the highway with idiots doing 70mph in the rain/. Its amazing how many people risk others lives to get some where faster.. my car handles very well and my tires are on point.. but damn me to fuck if Im going over 55mph on a consistent wet roadway.. I am not afraid to go faster.. I just want to live ok.. Its that fucking simple. There is only so much rubber grabbing the ground you fucking idiots. How much time you cutting off doing 70?
So one of the weird things about the new forum is that even if you type out a name correctly in a "@" tag, it sometimes still won't come out right. The pop up menu seems to be the only reliable method
@newbie-one It's a bit dehumanizing and perhaps slightly more inconvenient but getting the User ID is another way. I don't think you even need the proper name then.
An economic consulting firm says Hurricane Florence may result in between $17 billion and $22 billion in lost economic output and property damage. That would put Florence in the Top 10 of costliest hurricanes to hit the U.S. Economists at Moody's Analytics caution that this estimate could be revised significantly higher as more information comes in on the extent of inland flooding. The consulting firm says it is putting property losses at between $16 billion and $20 billion and lost economic output at between $1 billion and $2 billion. The total cost of hurricanes has been rising because of increased construction in coastal areas and more severe flooding associated with rising sea levels.
My test was to see the Eric that wasn't Eric! Actually the other Eric wasn't all that boring, they had another link to some European housing and stuff.
Just outta curiosity, is there a list of next hurricane names? I know it goes alphabetically but interested to know if they're made on the spot, or already designated names?

"He's Gone." I just read this story about a mother having her 1 year old son torn from her arms in the raging flood waters. This is a horrible, horrible storm - taking these infants lives and tearing out the hearts of the families left behind. It should be really sobering for anybody participating in this thread. In a Florence flood, she tried to hold onto her baby. But the water ripped him away.
