I don't think so, either, at this point. It will just be interesting to see just how bad it turns out to be. I mean it's definitely a BIG storm.
I should really get some sleep before the winds start a howlin'. I am glad I can just stay home for the rest of the day.
DUH. I've been sitting here reading your posts and finally realized you're in Rochester, NY. Howdy neighbor! I'm south of you in the hills. Figures this f'ing storm has to venture into our area this week. I have to pack a moving truck and drive south. So long six months of winter and high taxes in NYS! Whooh!
right now theres a lot of wind and rain, yesterday I walked down to the harbor and the water level was almost coming over the edge of the concrete but it doesn't seem THAT bad...right now at least
My friend in NYC sent me some pics of the NY harbor today. It looks pretty wicked already and the worst is still yet to come
Well I went out and bought batteries today so it is a good chance that our power won't go out. What is with these national weather men who have to go out and report from the beach with waves crashing behind them??? The guy's film and voice are all broken up and he is saying "There was a mandatory evacuation here last night at 8 pm." and I am wondering so WTF are you still doing there???
