OMG that's terrible.

I know they're a territory and all, but do they have a National Guard unit for this kind of stuff? And if not, whose job is it to protect them? The US Army? And if so, why aren't they down there.

I mean, FEMA? Trump? Anyone? They are part of the US. All I can do is donate canned goods and plasma (which I've been doing since Harvey) but doesn't he US government have some obligation to help down there?

Tonight, my daughter-in-law got to speak to her grandmother in Puerto Rico.


She wants to send her grandmother some water and some toiletries, etc. and she can't.

There's no way to send items in - no mail - no deliveries.

The frustration at not being able to help is setting in.

I'd be in tears right now if that were my grandmother.

In the video he says that large amounts of supplies have been delivered hourly from the United States.

 

I saw the title of a video that said the supplies are sitting in warehouses. That's all I could get from the video because it's in Spanish.

Yeah I saw that. Pitbull rocks, whoever he is. Is he Puerto Rican, I wonder?
