I'm way too much of a nerd to be a dork. Sorry. Can I have a cookie anyway?

I'm a nerd too, not so much a dork. but I love cookies, especially chocolate chip ones. yum.

I'd consider myself more of a geek.

There's a definite distinction between the synonyms of 'dork'.

 

dork is defined as 1. Slang A stupid, inept, or foolish person: "the stupid antics of America's favorite teen-age cartoon dorks" (Joshua Mooney).
2. Vulgar Slang The penis.
nerd: . a stupid, irritating, ineffectual, or unattractive person.
2. an intelligent but single-minded person obsessed with a nonsocial hobby or pursuit: a computer nerd.
Also, nurd.
and geek: a peculiar or otherwise dislikable person, esp. one who is perceived to be overly intellectual.
2. a computer expert or enthusiast (a term of pride as self-reference, but often considered offensive when used by outsiders.)
3. a carnival performer who performs sensationally morbid or disgusting acts, as biting off the head of a live chicken.

but to me a nerds someone smart but too smart to be able to speak engliush in a way understandable by anyone but other nerds, geeks can speak normal enough to pass for dorks when needed and dorks are not necasarily inteligent but suffer from the same social awkwardnesses as the other catagories

i love how the nerd definition though is both a stupid person and an overly inteligent one
cause have ya ever noticed how often in people with extreme inteligencethey can demonstrate equal stupidity?
i remember an argument with a mathamatician who insisted humans shouldnt have sex, because animals have sex, animals cant do math so since humans can do math they should never do anything aniumals do..like have sex...and ofcourse his phd made him think he must be right in all things, in fact no matter how stupid his arguments hed refuse to even concider any contrary points valid from anyone without a phd
guess my point is, stupidity and inteligence can be one in the same thing sometimes, so you can be a dork a nerd a geek and a freak all at the same time
but it dont matter what ya are as long as ya like cookies

I LOVE dorks....
am quite a big dork, myself....and i love every second of it...

 

nerds are useful someway. so are geeks. dorkiness, however, is my level. i embarassed the nerds and geeks.

 

I like dorks and geeks...
I am not one of them, but I like them.

 

okay, here's a true test of dorkiness.

my uncle spook (spooky) married a woman named heidi. if you don't guffaw at that, you're not nearly as much a dork as i am.
